Terms & Conditions for Madrassah Registration

1 Eligibility & Authority to Register a Madrassah

Registration on the MyJamia platform constitutes a legally binding agreement between MyJamia Cloud Technologies and the named educational institution.

• Authorized Representative Mandate: The Registrant warrants they are the legal Muhtamim, Nazim, Trustee, or authorized Administrator.
• Anti-Impersonation Clause: Registering an institution without mandate is strictly prohibited.

2 Institutional Identity, Phone & OTP Verification

To preserve the security of academic records, verified authentic information is required during registration:

• Accurate Institutional Details: Official name, address, state, district, and contact email.
• Two-Factor OTP Verification: The primary mobile number is verified via OTP.
• Audit & Verification Rights: Proof of institutional identity may be requested if needed.

3 Subdomain Allocation & Digital Portal Rights

Each registered institution receives a dedicated unique cloud subdomain (e.g. yourmadrasa.myjamia.online):

• License to Use: Licensed for the duration of the active subscription.
• Appropriate Subdomain Names: Must reflect real institution names without infringement.

4 Subscription Plans, Invoices & Renewal Terms

MyJamia offers tiered annual plans clearly displayed on the Pricing page:

• Transparent Billing: Electronic invoices are generated upon registration.
• Introductory / Free Trial Access: Granted during trial windows before payment is required.
• Renewal & Grace Period: 12-month validity with a 15-day grace period before lock.
• Refunds: Governed by our official Refund Policy.

5 100% Institutional Data Ownership & Intellectual Property

• No Sale or Third-Party Sharing: Absolute prohibition on selling or renting student/parent data.
• Confidentiality Guarantee: Student records, fee logs, and exam marks are kept confidential.

6 Student & Minor Guardian Data Protection (DPDP Act 2023)

Given that madrasas educate minors, we commit to the highest child data privacy standards under DPDP Act 2023:

• Madrassah as Data Controller: The Madrassah gathers records with guardian consent.
• No Behavioral Profiling or Minor Tracking: No advertising targeted at students.

7 Transactional Communications, SMS, WhatsApp & OTP

By registering, the Madrassah consents to receiving essential transactional messages:

• Permitted Notices: OTPs, password resets, system alerts, and renewal notices.
• Parent Notifications: Dispatched directly to parents on behalf of the Madrassah.

8 Super Administrator Role & Subordinate Access Control

• Administrative Master Key: Primary credentials created during registration control the entire portal.
• Staff & Teacher Permissions: Administrator controls sub-accounts and permissions.

9 Service Availability, 99.9% Uptime & Cloud Backups

MyJamia is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud servers engineered for maximum reliability:

• 99.9% Target Uptime: Aimed at keeping daily attendance and operations seamless.
• Automated Cloud Backups: Secure redundant offsite backups protect against data loss.

10 Data Portability, Account Suspension & Deletion Rights

• Full Data Portability: Export student lists, registers, and marksheets into Excel/PDF anytime.
• Suspension for Unlawful Conduct: Accounts violating laws or conducting fraud will be suspended.
• Right to Erasure: Written request by authorized Muhtamim enables complete data purge.

11 Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Official Contact

Governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in Assam (Gauhati Jurisdiction).
